SFTAI -Swedish Society of Cardiac Anesthesiology and Critical Care is
a component society of SFAI Swedish Society of Anesthesiology
and Critical Care.

SFTAI was founded on May 29 1996 and now has a membership of 85 persons, all licensed phycisians in Sweden practicing cardiac anesthesiology and critical care related to cardiac surgery.

The society is involved in educational, regulatory and research activities.

Yearly meetings are held in different parts of the country.
